Choose a point on the surface and swim to it under water using compass. Found platform underwater and continued on same line to boat. I took compass and returned successfully on same line to origin. Used a lift bag to raise old steel tank with buddy ‘Ian’, taking turns lifting and lowering it and moving it closer to shore.
