Pixar Cars is a Cautionary Tale

This week Newsweek reported that Scientist in Japan are putting “googly-looking eyes” on self-driving cars as a way to communicate with pedestrians that they have been seen. This is either really creepy or brilliant, or both. It also makes me think that Pixar’s Cars is a prediction of a post-human word.

One of the best parts of WWDC are the lunchtime speakers like @DrWave, @CNN, and @NASA

Dr. Michael Johnson is a great presenter. I love his style and anecdotes. I’ve seen him present at 4 or 5 WWDCs over the years. Unfortunately these sessions are protected under NDA and are not available for re-broadcast anywhere. Cars (2006)

last matinee on a very hot Friday. I had only seen one review prior to going to see this movie. It definitely delivered. Although the story line was familiar to anyone who has seen Michael J. Fox’s Doc Hollywood, the Pixar version is a real treat.… Read the rest “Cars (2006)”
