Pretty good. It was derivative of Deja Vu, 12 Monkeys and Groundhog Day to name a few. If you like those movies and scenery of Chicago then this is a good rental. Not much action and pace is a little slow.
Very funny, raunchy comedy. It’s in the style of Hangover with a Jaime Fox character named after Samuel L Jackson’s favorite expression. If you can get through the language and vulgarity then it sustains story and comedy. The movie is full of botched movie references like “Throw Mama from the Train” & “Strangers on a Train”
Troll Hunter was fun. You have to take it for what it is and enjoy it. It’s in the same style as Blair Witch and Cloverfield. Trolls are real and the government agency TSS has the job to keep them in their territory or put them down with UVB light.
Raunchy. It could have been a cute PG-13 but they went for the R instead. Funny moments but not enough to fill the void.
It kinda sucked and then Tim Robbins showed up and made it worse. The plot and characters did not fill the scenery. At least we did not pay extra to see it in 3-D.
Thoroughly enjoyable homage to Spielberg’s movies from E.T. to Goonies mixed with a smaller scale Cloverfield monster and modern special effects. The film is full of Spielberg moments lifted right from other film like Close Encounters and Jaws. Highly recommend summer movie.…

I really did not care for this 4th installment in the franchise. I found the characters and plot flat. It lacked the fun of the original. I was annoyed by the fact that it was dark and raining in every scene.…

Fun movie with a good use of 3-D in its flight scenes. It made want to fly down for carnival. It had a good story and would recommend for even little kids. The parents won’t be bored out of their minds in the meanwhile.
I really enjoyed this X-Men movie. I think it might be the best of the series when it comes to character and story. Xavier has a couple of cheesy moments. There are references to his hair. When the action starts he plays Jack Ryan to Magneto’s John Clark – that reference will make sense to fans of Tom Clancy’s spy novels.…

Take ID4 and District 9 and mix them with the Hurt Locker. You get a gritty Alien invasion movie. The characters and actors were good. There were only two known actors. I would have liked a bit more levity to lighten the relentless mood but it was not to be.…

It was about what I expected, maybe a little better. Seth can actually play more than the frat boy. Kato saved the movie. Rent it.
Visually incredible. I loved all the references to the original. It degraded into a predictable ‘we have to get there by the deadline’ movie. I’ll be buying it when it comes out on iTunes because it think it will hold up to repeat viewing.…

It’s sort of like a prequel to Braveheart from the Roman point of view. I mostly want to complain about the cinematography. The story is supposed to take place in the Highlands but the filmed it in a dark forest in Hungary.…
