Took a quick family trip to Colorado over the Christmas break and wanted to post some pictures to share. This trip included driving through. New Mexico, visiting St Elmo ghost town, and a drive up to the Continental Divide at Monarch Pass. As always the towns of Buena Vista and Salida are adorable. The locals pronounce “Buena” as “bewnie”.
In downtown Salida, there’s Salida Park that features a Endless Wave. Men and women in full dry suits were taking turns riding the wave. This was not something I expected to see in winter.
