Back in August Shawn King announce the end of the Your Mac Life Show after many, many years. I wish him well on his future endeavors.
I had the pleasure of meeting Shawn twice. The first was a Mac World San Fransisco 1998. We was going booth to booth and made a stop at ours to see what we were working on. He was more interested in our double-padded carpet than the software we had for sale. He would later bestow the “Thursby Award” to booths that were so comforting to feet tired from walking the exhibit hall of Moscone. Nearly twenty years later I managed to catch up with him for a coffee in a small town near Vancouver.
I regularly enjoyed his weekly podcast. I was an all-to-frequent winner of Griffin Tech gear than should have been statistically possible.
Thanks Shawn and the crew for the show.
