Below is an archive of some Instagram accounts from over the years. One used to be able to create an Instagram account to share pictures for a hobby or club, or even a pet. When Meta (Facebook) bought Instagram, things started to go downhill. Starting in 2025, it will be a violation of the terms of service to have an account that is not identified by a real person. This requires sharing real personal information with Meta and uploading a government photo ID. Rather than succumb to that invasion of privacy, these accounts have been deleted with the content archived here.
